M-JPAT conducts the common Personality Assessment Round on behalf of all the associated MBA colleges. Last year the process was conducted in multiple locations in India and for the current year it is scheduled at 65 locations in India and select cities of the neighbouring countries namely - Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh , Bhutan , Malaysia , Maldives , Mauritius , Nepal , Nigeria , Oman , Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka , United Arab Emirates .

Students registering for M-JPAT process will have to appear for just one combined GD and PI session as part of the selection process for securing admission to any one of the associated MBA College.

The Personality Assessment Round comprises primarily of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The Group Discussion round will be used to check the ability of the student to perform in groups and get his/her viewpoint heard in a group and, most importantly, check for the spontaneity and logicality of thought.

The Group Discussions will be of approximately 15 minutes and each group will consist of Maximum 12 students. The evaluating panel will consist of academicians and industry experts.

The complete process is video graphed and shared with the participating MBA colleges. Each MBA College will use its own evaluation parameters to screen and shortlist students.

The Personal Interview Round will consist of two sections:

• The HR round will be a test of communication skills, thinking ability, clarity of goals and personal disposition.
  
  
• The Academic / Technical round will be a test of the subject knowledge and the knowledge of the work place. It will also test the candidate’s ability to apply their learnt skills.
  
  

The Interview process will be of approximately 20 minutes. The evaluating panel will consist of academicians and industry experts.

The two years of M-JPAT, witnessed avid student participation from across the country.

The two editions of M-JPAT were open to Indian students and Indian MBA colleges. Students from across 20 states in India participated in the program.

The overwhelming response received in previous two years has encouraged us to take M-JPAT to international frontiers. Now, M-JPAT has been launched for MBA aspirants from the Indian Subcontinent and the neighbouring countries namely- Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh , Bhutan , Malaysia , Maldives , Mauritius , Nepal , Nigeria , Oman , Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka , United Arab Emirates apart from India.

As M-JPAT enters its third year of operation, the mission continues to remain the same: to provide a cost effective, efficient and easy approach to the second round application, selection and admission process for admissions into MBA institutes.
